Overview:

The Prot6Armor texture pack enhances your Minecraft experience by visually distinguishing full Netherite armor enchanted with Protection 6. When any piece of Netherite armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) is enchanted with Protection 6, its texture changes to a bright green overlay, providing an immediate visual cue of its enchantment status.

Why It's Useful in PvP:

In PvP, quickly identifying your opponents' — or your own — gear's enchantment level can be the difference between winning and losing a fight. This texture pack allows you to:

• Enhanced Awareness: Immediately know whether an enemy is running maxed-out defensive gear.
• Improved Strategy: Adjust your combat decisions based on visual information alone — perfect for competitive scenarios where spotting a fully protected enemy in a split second can change the outcome of a fight.

Requirements:

• OptiFine: Essential for enabling Custom Item Textures (CIT).
• CIT Resewn (for Fabric): Allows for dynamic texture changes based on enchantment level.

Installation Instructions:

For OptiFine:

1. Visit the OptiFine website and download the version compatible with your Minecraft version.
2. Run the downloaded file to install OptiFine.

For Fabric (CIT Resewn):

1. Go to the CIT Resewn page on Modrinth and download the version that matches your Minecraft version.
2. Place the downloaded .jar file into your Minecraft mods folder.

📂 Locating the Resource Packs Folder

1. Open your Minecraft Launcher and launch the game.
2. Navigate to the main menu, then click Options > Resource Packs.
3. Click Open Resource Pack Folder.
4. Drag and drop the texture pack .zip file into this folder, then activate it.
